South Park Post Covid II Drops

South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID, the second of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s 14 made-for-TV films created specifically for streaming service Paramount+, will premiere on Dec. 16.

“If Stan, Kyle and Cartman could just work together, they could go back in time to make sure COVID never happened and save Kenny’s life. In South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID, traveling back to the past seems to be the easy answer until they meet Victor Chaos,” reads the movie’s synopsis. (It’s safe to assume Butters is Victor Chaos, based on a tease in the final seconds of Post COVID.)

Aaron Rodgers, the general unvaccinated population, and woke culture were among the targets of criticism in South Park: Post COVID, with the latter movement having progressed so far into the future that jokes no longer exist and no one can be offended.

Parker and Stone signed a new multi-year contract with Paramount+ and Comedy Central parent ViacomCBS in August that extends until 2027 and includes 14 exclusive Paramount+ projects as well as the main series being renewed for a 30th season.
