On the Verge follows four women as they dig into their lives in a pre-pandemic version of Los Angeles. One is a single mom, one a chef, one seeks a job, and one is an heiress, and they’re all brought together by their love life and their work.
“On The Verge is so disjointed in its storytelling and so surface with its character development that it actually made us not want to see another episode,” writes Decider’s Joel Keller. “And that’s hard to do for a show that features both [Julie] Delpy and [Elisabeth] Shue.”
