After going into a coma with severe brain trauma, actress Anne Heche is dead at age 53.

She was involved with a massive car crash in Mar Vista, Los Angeles, where her car sped into a house.

While initial reports stated that Anne Heche was responsive at the time help arrived, she slipped into a coma soon after.

She was left in a brain dead state where the choice was made by her family to take Anne Heche taken off life support Friday, August 12.

More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love.

The actress had quite the career beginning in the 1990’s, with horror fans having recognized her for playing a part in I Know What You Did Last Summer and the role of Marion Crane in the 1998 remake of Psycho.She starred in Six Day, Seven Nights with Harrison Ford. We are sorry to see her go.
