In October, the title of Shyamalan’s next film, Knock at the Cabin, was disclosed, along with a release date of February 3, 2023, but no specifics about the plot were revealed, as is typically the case. What we do know as of this week is that the film’s star will be professional wrestler-turned-Guardians-of-the-Galaxy actor Dave Bautista, echoing M. Night Shyamalan’s habit of selecting popular A-list movie stars to boost his films’ box office appeal. Bautista will reprise his role as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy just three months after the release of Knock at the Cabin (2/3/2023).
